2011 CRD Specialist Training Scholarship

Region VIII

Region VIII is able to provide the opportunity for a $500 scholarship for Region VIII CRD

members toward the 2011 CRD Specialist Training Program at Bismarck State College, Bismarck,

ND, and Washington, DC, Sunday, June 5 – Friday, June 17, 2011.

Individuals cannot apply for the Specialist Training Program contingent on receiving a

scholarship and must be accepted into the Specialist Training Program prior to submitting a request to be considered for the scholarship.

The applicant’s institution is responsible for paying the tuition fee and,

if applicant receives a scholarship, CRD will reimburse the funds to the institution.

Application requires a commitment to attend that is signed off by the applicant’s direct

supervisor and the college president.

DEADLINE to apply for the 2011 Specialist Training Program Scholarship is April 1, 2011,

the same date as the Specialist Training application deadline. To apply for the scholarship,

please forward a copy of your Specialist Training application to Rita Nodland (Rita.Nodland@bsc.nodak.edu)

CRD's 44th Annual National Conference

Region VIII is able to provide the opportunity for one $525 scholarship for Region VIII CRD members to attend the 2010 CRD Annual Conference, Washington, DC, November 1‐6, 2010. Individuals cannot register for the CRD Annual Conference contingent on receiving a scholarship and must be registered prior to submitting the scholarship application. The applicant’s institution is responsible for paying the registration and, if applicant receives a scholarship, CRD will reimburse the funds to the institution.
