October 31st - November 3rd, 2010
Washington, DC
Sponsored by
Each year CRD invites volunteers to come to Washington, DC, to update information on federal funding available to two-year colleges. FFTF participants have the opportunity to advocate for funding for community colleges, network with colleagues, and build relationships with agency program officers. The Federal Funding Task Force visits dozens of federal agencies, departments, and grant programs to gather information needed to produce the "Federal Funding to Two-Year Colleges Report," available to all CRD members on the CRD website. It’s a terrific professional development opportunity that enhances the value you bring to your institution.
FFTF Participants have the opportunity to:
* Advocate for funding for community colleges
* Network with colleagues
* Build relationships with agency program officers
The Task Force is limited to fifty-five (55) CRD members. Registrants who complete a registration application after 55 volunteers have been confirmed will be placed on a waiting list and contacted to participate when an opening occurs. Each member will be assigned to two or three visiting teams. Debriefing sessions will be held at the end of each day for FFTF members only. Make the most of your travel dollars and plan to attend both the Federal Funding Task Force and the Annual Conference.
The Task Force is full, but accepting wait list applicants.
